Well what a great turnout it was and so many supporting Australia Day 2018 . Simply fantastic. You have to give it to Darren, the Rubicon Hotel publican for putting on a great show year after year. Rubiconriff played the first year and have returned every year since. We reckon the crowd was in the thousands this year, nothing like cold beer, a warm day, a top BBQ, stuff for the kids and great music to fire up Australians. A great day was had by all attending the Alexandra Spring Fair. Food stalls of all kinds entertainment for the kids and people relaxing under the trees listening to some fine music. Rubiconriff returned to their hometown playing a mix of covers and originals with a new line up for the day. Local Chris Lynch on drums, Garry and Shane providing banjo vocals and guitar and Garry’s son Brad providing some neat engine room base.
